Travelled to Wellington to ref the Sire Cup 3-man event at TAG in Pomare and for team training after that. Was awesome to have everyone together. Crashed at the Muppet Mansion. Was cool to finally get to check the legendary site out. Talked crap. Watched Jawbreaker 4 (For the apparently fifth time at the mansion for the day). Darren made a cool curry. Look forward to moving down to Wellington so it's easier to meet up with everyone.
Was also round 3 of the AXL in Adelaide in Australia. Apparently Perth's first game of the event was scheduled for 0730 (WTF!?!?!?!?) against Sydney. Not all Perth's players were going to be able to get to the field by 0730, with some still arriving at the airport, and they'd only received the draw the day before. So the game was forfeited. Apparently Perth have walked away from the AXL as well. I'm thinking something about 'fart in a jar' or 'piss up in a brewery'. Actually, that's probably not quite fair. They did pull off a cool event in Sydney. But these are basic things to get right (Field designs and draws to people two weeks before an event). How hard can it be?
